Geomagnetic Storms Voltage corrections may be required, false alarms triggered on some protection devices. Surface charging may occur on satellite components, drag may increase on low-Earth-orbit satellites, and corrections may be needed for orientation problems. Intermittent satellite navigation and low-frequency radio navigation problems may occur, HF radio may be intermittent, and aurora has been seen as low as Illinois and Oregon (typically 50° geomagnetic lat.).
S
Solar Radiation Storms No deviations from the norm in the radiation environment were recorded.
R
Radio Blackouts Weak or minor degradation of HF radio communication on sunlit side, occasional loss of radio contact. Low-frequency navigation signals degraded for brief intervals.
Forecast
G
Geomagnetic Storms forecast Weak power grid fluctuations can occur. Minor impact on satellite operations possible. Migratory animals are affected at this and higher levels; aurora is commonly visible at high latitudes (northern Michigan and Maine).
S
Solar Radiation Storms forecast No deviations from the norm in the radiation environment are predicted.
R
Radio Blackouts forecast Weak or minor degradation of HF radio communication on sunlit side, occasional loss of radio contact. Low-frequency navigation signals degraded for brief intervals.
For 24 hours - 135 earthquakes of magnitude ≥2.0 was recorded in 37 regions of the world, of which with magnitude ≥5.0 - in 5 regions. In Russia - 7 and 1, respectively.

Application...
The spectrum (color scale) of natural and technogenic hazards is an integral part of the Environmental Monitoring System and is used for:
notifying users of predicted and actual weather hazards, emergencies and natural and technogenic disasters;
daily visualization of the state of the territorial subjects of the Russian Federation (history, fact, forecast);
visualization of the state of the environment in monthly archives and annual final analytical conclusions.
