Geomagnetic Storms High-latitude power systems may experience voltage alarms, long-duration storms may cause transformer damage. Corrective actions to orientation may be required by ground control; possible changes in drag affect orbit predictions. HF radio propagation can fade at higher latitudes, and aurora has been seen as low as New York and Idaho (typically 55° geomagnetic lat.).
S
Solar Radiation Storms Minor impacts on HF radio in the polar regions.
R
Radio Blackouts Wide area blackout of HF radio communication, loss of radio contact for about an hour on sunlit side of Earth. Low-frequency navigation signals degraded for about an hour.

For 24 hours - 118 earthquakes of magnitude ≥2.0 was recorded in 33 regions of the world, of which with magnitude ≥5.0 - in 5 regions. In Russia - 4 and 0, respectively.

Application...
The spectrum (color scale) of natural and technogenic hazards is an integral part of the Environmental Monitoring System and is used for:
notifying users of predicted and actual weather hazards, emergencies and natural and technogenic disasters;
daily visualization of the state of the territorial subjects of the Russian Federation (history, fact, forecast);
visualization of the state of the environment in monthly archives and annual final analytical conclusions.
